RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus (RUMC) is the only international branch campus in Malaysia established by two of Ireland’s most prestigious medical universities: the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) and University College Dublin (UCD). This unique collaboration allows students to begin their journey in Dublin and complete their studies in Penang, Malaysia, combining centuries of Irish medical tradition with Southeast Asia’s rich cultural environment.

Dual-campus experience: Students spend the first 2.5 years in Dublin (Ireland) for pre-clinical studies, learning in world-class facilities and benefiting from globally renowned faculty. The final 2.5 years are completed in Penang (Malaysia), where students gain direct patient exposure and benefit from an excellent patient-to-student ratio in clinical training.
Global recognition & accreditation: The degree is awarded by the National University of Ireland (NUI) and is recognised by international medical bodies including ECFMG, FAIMER and WDOMS. It is also accredited by both the Irish Medical Council (IMC) and the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC), ensuring global mobility for graduates.

Student life is an important aspect of university education as it can offer a unique opportunity to develop leadership and communication skills. Campus life at European University Cyprus focuses on the intellectual, occupational, social and cultural growth and nurturing of students. Students are encouraged to become involved with one or more clubs and student organizations. Extracurricular activities ranging from Legal Rhetoric Speech Contests, Cultural Nights, Meditation, BBQs, Parties, Excursions and Festivals, complement an active campus life and offer ample opportunity for fun and memories.
The New Life Fitness Center is located only 5 minutes from the university campus and accommodations units. Students enjoy themselves at the New Life Health Center multi-venue, which offers the most comprehensive fitness and health facilities services in the area such as Indoor heated 21x10m swimming pool, Aqua Aerobics freestyle swimming programs, Ultra-modern gym and many other facilities.
