St. George’s University was established in 1976 as an independent School of Medicine and began accepting students in January 1977. It has developed into a premier international education hub, attracting students and faculty from 140 countries to Grenada, in the West Indies.
St. George’s University’s network of over 17,000 School of Medicine and School of Veterinary Medicine graduates have practiced in all 50 US States and more than 50 countries around the world. No other medical school in the world provides more new doctors to the US healthcare system than St. George’s University. Department of Preventive Medicine and Public Health That World Health Organization (WHO) have designated the center as a Collaborating Center on Environmental and Occupational Health.
SGU is affiliated with educational institutions around the world, including in the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Ireland, and its services are accredited and accepted by a number of governing bodies.
SGU offers four, five and six year MD Programs depending on the applicant’s educational background.
SGU has two intakes August and January. The University also does offer scholarships for its students.
The tuition fee for the 5 year Medicine program is approximately $300,000 (It may vary for every year). The University also does offer scholarships for its students.
